Two Little Dicky-Birds

It was a beautiful morning. A little girl saw two little Dicky-birds sitting on a wall. She named one bird as Peter and another bird as Paul.

She watched Peter fly away first. Then Paul flew away. Not long after that, Peter came back and sat on the wall. Then Paul also came back and sat beside Peter.

Later, Peter flew away again. Paul followed Peter. When Peter came back to the wall, Paul also came back. The little girl saw the two birds fly away and come back again and again.

The next day, the little girl saw only Paul coming back. However, Peter was nowhere to be seen.

Moral of the story :

Following your friend is good for a certain time but not for all the time.

Wee Willie Winkie

That night, Wee Willie Winkie’s niece and nephew were coming for a sleepover. Wee Willie Winkie took the children to their room. He left them and went to his room to change into his nightgown.

It was already eight o’clock. He went to their room and tried to open the door but it was locked. He panicked. He called their names through the lock but there was no answer. He got out from the house and climbed up to their window. The room was dark. He could not see anything. He rapped at the window. Still there was no answer.

He went to look for them in the town. But still there was no sign of the children. Then he went back in feeling tired. He went up to their room again and tried to open the door using a spare key. The door slid open. He looked inside and saw his nephew and niece sleeping soundly.

Moral of the story :

Do not rush into doing things and panicked too quickly. Think before you react.

“Excuse me, little boy. I thought you were a flower," said the little bee and flew away. The little boy was very surprised.
