The sentence is grammatically incorrect. You usually divorce someone. The word divorced is usually followed by a noun or a pronoun.
For example:
• After twenty years of marriage, Rama decided to divorce Govind.
• My cousin divorced his wife last month.
It is also possible to say, To get a divorce.
For example:
• They are planning to get a divorce soon.
• My cousin got divorced last month.
