The Adverbs
An adverb is a word which is used to modify any part of speech except a noun or pronoun.
It modifies the meaning of a verb, adjective, adverb or a sentence.
Examples :
An adverb modifies a verb.
He sang sweetly.
An adverb modifies an adjective.
She is usually intelligent.
An adverb modifies another adverb.
Hany ran very quickly.
An adverb modifies the whole sentence.
