What is the difference between Quark and Quirk? :
Quark :
(
1 ) (Physics) any of several very small parts of which elementary particles are thought to consist
As many as eighteen types of quark are possible according to a theory.
Quirk :
(
1 ) Habit or action that is peculiar to someone / something
He had a strange quirk of addressing his wife as Deviji.
One of his quirks is sleeping with his socks on.
(
2 ) Accident
Coincidence
By quirk of fate, they were in the same plane.
By one of those quirks of fate, both died within a few days of each other.
