What is the difference between Pap and Pep? :


Pap : (noun)

( 1 ) Soft or semi-liquid food suitable for babies or invalids


( 2 ) Undemanding and trivial or worthless reading matter

I do not need such a pap.

Can you bear to read such pap?



Pep : (noun)

( 1 ) Vigor

Feeling of liveliness

He is full of pep.



Pep : (verb)

( 1 ) Make someone / something feel more lively or energetic

Stimulate something / someone

There is a lovely music to pep up the party.

A walk in the fresh air will pep you up.



PEP TALK :

( 1 ) Talk intended to improve morale especially by encouraging the listener or listeners to work harder

To try to win

The team was given a pep talk on the morning of the big march.
