What is the difference between Fad and Fade? :
Fad : (noun)
(
1 ) Fashion, interest, enthusiasm, preference, etc…that is not likely to last
She is full of fads and fancies.
His interest in collecting foreign stamps is just a fad.
Fade : (verb)
(
1 ) Lose color, freshness or vigor
Flowers soon fade when cut.
She is fading fast.
(
2 ) Cause something to lose color, freshness, etc…
The strong sunlight has faded the curtains.

3 ) Become indistinct
Disappear gradually
His hopes faded.
All memory of her childhood had faded from her mind.
The sound of the cheering faded in the distance.

4 ) Disperse, die
The crowd just faded away.
He is fading away.
