Dab : (verb)

1 ) Press lightly and gently
He dabbed his eyes with a tissue.
( 2 ) Lightly touch something by pressing but not rubbing
I dabbed at the cut with cotton wool.
Dub : (verb)
( 1 ) Give someone a nickname
They dubbed him SHORTY. Because he was very tall.
( 2 ) Create, add or replace the soundtrack of a film in a different language
This is a Bengali film dubbed into Hindi.
