Clothe : (verb)

1 ) Put cloths on someone / oneself
Dress
She was clothed from head to foot in white.

2 ) Provide cloths for someone
He can barely feed and clothe his family.

3 ) Cover something as if with clothes
The landscape was clothed in mist.
Clothes : (noun)
(
1 ) Garments
Covering for a person’s body
Put on your warm clothes.
(
2 ) CLOTHES is always used in the plural number.
He was wearing expensive clothes.
