1 ) In music, combination of notes, usually sounded together in harmony
(
2 ) (Mathematics) straight line that joins two points on the circumference of a circle or the ends of an arc
(
3 ) String of a harp, etc…
Cord : (noun)
(
1 ) Piece of long thin, flexible material made of twisted strands, thicker than the string and thinner than the rope
He tied the parcels with cord.

2 ) Part of the body like a cord long, thin and flexible
