What is the difference between Barge and Verge? :
Barge :
(
1 ) Rush or lump heavily or clumsily
Stop barging into people.
She barged past me in the crowd.
(
2 ) Enter or interrupt someone rudely or clumsily
I tried to stop him coming through the door but he just barged in.
He always barges into others conversation.
Verge :
(
1 ) Be very close or similar to something – be approaching something
This is a situation verging on the ridiculous.
As she is verging on 85 now, she needs constant attention.
