Voucher : noun :
(a) paper which is given instead of money
Cash Voucher = paper which can be exchanged for cash
• With every £20 of purchases, the customer gets a cash voucher to the value of £2.
Gift Voucher = card bought in a store which is given as a present and which must be exchanged in that store for goods
Luncheon Voucher = ticket given by an employer to a worker which can be exchanged in a restaurant for food
(b) written document from an auditor to show that the accounts are correct or that money has really been paid
