Statistics
Statistics is the science of collecting and interpreting numerical information. It is represented in graphs. Let us take an example and make a statistics of the highest selling ice 5 cream flavours in a week. Collect the information about the names of the flavours that an ice cream vendor sells in a week. Ask him to give you the information regarding the quantities he sells of each flavour. Gather this information for a period of 15 days. Once you have gathered the information, make a bar graph. Draw the axis of the graph. On the horizontal axis mark the quantity of ice cream sold and on the vertical axis show the flavours of ice cream. Mark the quantities of each flavour with pencils of different colours. Then make the bar chart. The ice cream graph is ready and you can easily read the number of ice cream of each flavour sold.
