Slangs beginning with R :Rack : A woman's breasts are her rack, especially if they are large. Radge : (UK) If someone's radge, they are mad or uncontrollable. Radgee : (UK) A radgee is a badly-behaved child. RAF : (UK) RAF stands for 'rough as fuck' and is used for a particularly ugly or uncouth person, usually a woman. Ragbag : (UK) A ragbag is a selection of things that haven't been chosen systematically. Rammed : (UK) If a place, especially a pub or bar, is rammed, it is very crowded. Rank : (UK) Something or someone that is rank is disgusting or ugly. Rat-arsed : (UK) If someone is rat-arsed, they are very drunk. Rat-faced : (UK) If someone is rat-faced, they are very drunk. Rat-run : A rat-run is a residential road that is used by many drivers as it is a convenient route and avoids traffic. Ratboy : A ratboy is an unpleasant, shifty young male criminal with pale skin resulting from too much fast food, Ratfink : A womanising and untrustworthy gentleman is a ratfink. Ratted : (UK) If someone is ratted, they are very drunk. Rattle : If something rattles you, it annoys you or makes you angry. Rattling : (UK) If a drug addict's rattling, they are experiencing the painful effects of withdrawal. Ratty : (UK) If someone is in a bad mood, they are ratty. Re-entry : Re-entry is a term for returning to sobriety after taking LSD or other hallucinogenic drug. Rear gunner : A rear gunner is a gay. Redneck : A redneck is a poor white person from the southern United States, especially rural areas. Reefer : 'Reefer' is a term for a cannabis cigarette. Repo man : A repo man's job is to repossess goods where the purchaser hasn't kept up with the payments. Riff : A riff is a regular sequence of notes or chords, usually when played on a guitar. Righteous : If something's righteous, it's top quality. Rim : Rimming someone is performing analingus. Rim fest : When people are excessively sycophantic towards someone or something, it is a rim fest. Robert's your father's brother : (UK) Same meaning as Bob's your Uncle - so well known in the UK that this is often now used in place of the original idiom. This idiom means that something will be successful: Just tell him that I gave you his name and Bob's your uncle/Robert's your father's brother- he'll help you. Rock star : (UK) A rock star is a crack addict, as crack comes in 'rocks'. Rookie : A rookie is someone who is new to something or has just joined an organisation. Rort : (AU) If someone rorts you, they defraud you or rip you off. Rort : (USA) If someone gets rorted, they consume a lot of drugs or alcohol. Roust : (USA) If the police harass or beat up people, they roust them. Rozzer : (UK) 'Rozzer' is a slang term for the police (It can be used in the singular or plural): They got busted by the rozzers.
