Egg-Man with Hair

Take an empty eggshell and cut it into two.

Make the edges smooth and on the outside of this shell, use a colour pencil to draw eyes, nose and mouth of a man. Inside the shell put some cotton and wet it with water. Put some mustard seeds on the cotton. After a few days you will be having the egg-man with growing hair. Actually it is the mustard plants that have grown up.

Dehydration in Vegetables

Take some fresh vegetables and fruits like potato, carrot, banana etc. and a small quantity of dehydrated peas in separate vessels. Weigh all of them separately. After that put the peas in water for sometime. Weigh the peas once more.

Note down all the weights. Now put every thing in a basket for one week and keep it on the windowsill. At the end of the week re-weigh them again and make some observations on the data obtained.
