Conditional Clauses : TYPE - 2
This type of sentence is used to refer to imperative actions, like commands, advice, requests etc., The conditional clause (if – clause) is in the present tense and the main clause takes the imperative form.
Examples :

If electricity fails, switch on the generator.

If you are tired, don’t go out.

If you see Kumar, please ask him to meet me.

If the temperature does not come down, call in the doctor.
